Forward Serenity, 2026
This piece unfolded almost faster than I could paint it. Deep anchoring greens, vivid pinks cutting through the hillside, and light shifting across the mountain in loose, gestural strokes. There was...exhilaration in the making of this piece. Momentum and expansion, layer by layer. This painting feels alive to me. Bold and full of forward motion, yet still reflective of the serenity I always feel when I'm adventuring out in the middle of nowhere.
