I strive to paint the way skiing feels, and this piece has me dreaming of deep days on the slopes! I love how the painting draws my eye around and through, and I can feel the skier's body twist as he slices through the fresh powder. There's something ethereal about the plume of snow, especially in juxtaposition to the outstretched pole. "Congratulations! Your painting, "Powder Dream", was selected as part of the FAV15% (jury's favorite 15% of the entries) in the January 2024 BoldBrush Painting competition."
