About the Arts Center
Tinker is Boulder's inclusive community art studio where artists of all ages explore, create, and connect. Our classes, workshops, and camps offer an arts-integrated approach led by skilled and passionate instructors. We provide children, teens, and adults opportunities to grow as skilled artists and inspired individuals. Learn a new skill or advance your craft through one of our programs! We offer weekday art classes and workshops for children, teens, and adults, with sessions available in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Courses cover a wide range of media and techniques—from drawing and painting to sculpture, sewing, and mixed media—designed to nurture creative growth at every age. Small class sizes and experienced instructors ensure individualized support in a welcoming, process-based environment. We offer after-school classes, school day off camps, and summer camps for children and teens, designed to inspire creativity and build foundational art skills. Our engaging school day off camps follow BVSD’s schedule with options for both half and full days. Summer camps are week-long, themed experiences offered in half-day formats, with flexible scheduling and full day options. We host creative, hands-on birthday parties and private events for kids and adults in our vibrant South Boulder studio, as well as pottery parties and events at Clay Hub. Each party includes a guided art project led by a Tinker instructor, with time built in for celebration and socializing.
