Steven Homsher

Born 1960 in Doylestown, PA. Education includes Jacques Fabert Studio and Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Received the Ramborger Prize for Line Drawing and Charles Topan Prize for Drawing. Completed a residency in Barcelona, Spain. Taught Figure Painting and Drawing at Abington Art Center. Has studied with Skip Whitcomb, Michael Workman, Jeff Legg, Jake Glaedtke, and John Taft. His work is primarily oil paintings, ranging from plein air landscapes to studio works with a recent focus on animals. He is a Colorado artist living in the mountains above Boulder.
