Remington Robinson grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and currently resides in Boulder, Colorado. He obtained a BFA in Painting and Drawing from RMCAD in 2010. Today, he paints an Altoids tin painting several times a week, and makes murals with his friend Jason T. Graves. In his spare time, Remington enjoys making music on his computer, playing guitar or mandolin, meditation, fishing, reading, writing and generally observing nature. The acute observation of nature and reality is of particular interest to the artist, because new insights into how it must be painted continually emerge. He has a true passion for painting. The natural world is a wellspring of inexhaustible inspiration for him. Everywhere he goes, excitement and enthusiasm bubbles up within him, urging him to paint anything and everything he sees. But there is only so much time, and so when time permits, he picks the very best of what he sees, and transforms it into a painting. Each and every painting is the product of a meditation; a close study of the natural laws which are the framework of reality and its beauty.
