The TyrantArtwork © Joy Redstone.
Joy Redstone is an artist, healer, photographer, and writer who creates art that bears witness to healing through art. Her work often uses found objects such as stones, broken glass, bullet casings, wood, feathers, bones, and beads, arranging them in patterns that reflect her inner world and experiences. Her art highlights the tension in the disparate value placed on broken, mundane, and discarded objects, and communicates the idea that beauty permeates all experiences, even harrowing ones. She began making art 5 years ago and has no formal training.
