About the artist.

I'm Jake Snow! I'm a Denver-based artist and livelong Coloradan. I create artwork in many different media and sizes. I love cats, color, and thinking abstractly. The depth behind much of my abstract work relates to the concept of a cosmic food chain. I believe that we live in a fractal shaped ecology, where no matter how far you zoom in or out of a given environment, you'll end up finding highly complex edges that end up repeating themselves. A colony of ants and a bustling city have more in common than you'd think. I find real comfort and freedom in being part of that gigantic, intricate fractal of life. That freedom shapes the foundation for a lot of my pieces. It's worth it to create cute art that everyone finds appealing, especially myself. It's also worth it to create abstract art that only resonates with a small audience, but for them it resonates deeply. I try to harmonize between these two themes. Below are some pictures of myself!
