Francesca Carle & Wonder Walls

Francesca Carle is a multidisciplinary, multi-passionate creator working across murals, art installations, interior design, and dance. At the heart of each facet of her work is the same intention: to create immersive experiences that evoke feeling, tell stories, and foster connection.

Francesca studied Interior Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and worked professionally in the field for several years. During that time, she became fascinated by the relationship between art and its environment. She often saw extraordinary murals and installations presented as standalone pieces without a meaningful connection to the spaces surrounding them. This inspired her to develop a more integrated approach – one in which art, architecture, color, texture, and atmosphere work harmoniously to create spaces that feel cohesive, intentional, and emotionally resonant. Through her creative practice, Wonder Walls, she brings this vision to life through murals, sculptural installations, custom artwork, and thoughtfully designed interiors.

Her dance practice is guided by a similar desire to evoke emotion and communicate through movement. Working primarily in contemporary, jazz, jazz-funk, and femme styles, Francesca creates choreography that explores storytelling, expression, and human connection. She recently co-choreographed and performed in “Asleep,” a dance work presented at the Equinox Dance Performance in Boulder earlier this year.

Francesca is also the co-founder of Dance Club Boulder, an organization offering choreography-based classes centered on artistry, connection, and adult community building. The organization’s larger vision is to cultivate a dedicated dance collective with opportunities to perform live, create music videos, and collaborate on other multidisciplinary projects.

Whether she is transforming a wall, shaping an entire environment, or telling a story through movement, Francesca’s work invites people to feel more deeply and experience art as something alive, immersive, and interconnected.
