About the artist.

Angelika Piwowarczyk is an illustrator and designer specializing in patterns, lettering, and surface design. Growing up in Poland, she developed a love for nature and art from a young age. After earning a Fine Arts degree and running a stationery business in Chicago, she now lives in Boulder, Colorado, working as a freelance commercial illustrator. She is involved in the local creative community through CreativeMornings and Groundworks Art Lab, and also with Illustrators for Hire. Her personal interests include hiking, observing animals and birds, woodworking, sewing, printmaking, pottery, and collecting books. She is also a book designer for Quarto Publishing.
